These programs are open to all residents of Santa Clara County. Surgeries are available from the following clinics. Please note that additional fees may be charged if the cat is in heat or pregnant. When deciding which clinic to use, ask about their requirements and any possible extra fees. Please call ahead for an appointment and bring your cat in a carrier. Not all participating clinics accept feral or wild cats brought in traps. Please notify the clinic and make arrangements in advance to bring in feral or wild cats in traps.
Bascom Animal Hospital (Note: Only Dr. Reed performs stray and feral cat surgeries every-other Sunday by appointment only. Call (408) 296-3300 for his schedule. San Jose Spay/Neuter Clinic This clinic only participates in the $20 discounted surgeries for domestic cats. Please specify that when making an appointment. Humane Society Silicon Valley (Note: The Humane Society has various other programs –be sure to specify you are interested in the County’s spay/neuter program.
